Registration Policies for 2009 Fall Semester
- Registration will be handled online preferably. Access the Iowa Chinese Language School (ICLS) online registration site by clicking "Registration" on the menu at www.IowaChineseSchool.org.
- New students will need to pay $25 non-refundable enrollment fee in order to be on file. Any student or participant may be asked by school administrators at any time to provide proof of age or dependency.
- The online tuition fee is $140 for Sunday language classes and $50 for other classes including basketball, and painting per semester for each student. For the language class, the 2nd or thereafter student in the same family will have a discount of $20 each. The tuition of language and non-language classes will be $150 and $60 respectively if you use the paper registration.
- Full payment for all registered classes is to be paid on the first day of the semester (August 30th, 2009), and no later than September 27th, 2009. Additional $25 fee will be charged for a returned check or late payment of tuition after Jan 25th, 2009.
- A full refund of the tuition fee will be granted if you drop the course on or before September 27th, 2009. No any portion of the tuition fee is refunded if you drop the class thereafter. You will need to drop classes before the deadline by noticing

- The minimum enrollment of six students per class is required for the school to continue the planned class. By the second Sunday after school starts, the classes with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled or combined with a similar program. However, the class without enough students granted by the School Board will be continued.
- Starting from 2008 fall, ICLS will only offer new classes during fall semester. If new students register during spring semester, they have to join the existing classes.
- Every household is required to volunteer at least 4 hours for the school per semester. The school encourages our parents to pass your ideas and comments regarding to school management, teaching quality and community activities anytime.
- The ICLS reserves the right to dismiss any student/participant who displays inappropriate behavior, harmful behavior, or violates school rules and regulations.
