Jimei Wang, a long time DuPont Pioneer employee and volunteer for Iowa Chinese Language School, was honored in DuPont Volunteer Recognition Program on Nov. 15th, 2012.

Jimei Wang served as board director for the Iowa Chinese Language School for three years where she held a variety of responsibilities, including recruiting and meeting teachers and coordinating school activities such as semester closing ceremonies, the annual parent-student-picnic, new year events and other celebrations. She also served as committee member for the school’s 10-year celebration ceremony. After retiring from the board, Jimei continues as an active volunteer for a variety of school activities.

Established in 1998, DuPont Volunteer Recognition Program recognizes employees or teams who devote their time and talents to improving the quality of life in their communities. On behalf of each honoree, $1,000 is donated to the organization that received the community service.

Congratulations, Jimei!
